Sunday Selections. The soggy christmas carols edition.

Last night we trekked an hour to the other side of the city to see christmas carols that were going to feature Yo Gabba Gabba. Being a favorite of all three kids and being free we decided it sounded fun. The weather looked crap but we packed our sense of adventure and set off.

The rain started 5 minutes before the carols were due to start.

Many of the families packed up, scowling and chastising their kids for getting wet while cursing the weather.

I had a moment where I realized that I had a choice. I could choose to be all pissed off at making the trip and missing the show (it was cancelled due to safety issues)or I could choose to make the best of the situation and have fun anyway.

I chose the latter. And it was such a fun night, for all of us.

And although we all got drenched there were so many laughs had and it was so much fun.
